Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, installing our tracking script, or otherwise accessing the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email and by posting a notice on this page at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. The service

AI Infos Web Statistics provides a privacy-first web analytics platform. The Service includes:

• A JavaScript tracking snippet for installation on your website(s).
• A web dashboard for viewing analytics data.
• Features including real-time data, goals, UTM tracking, alerts, and API access (availability varies by plan).
• Administrative tools for account management.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable. We are not liable to you for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

3. Accounts

To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Promptly notifying us if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may only create one account per person or organization unless otherwise agreed. Accounts may not be transferred to another party without our written consent.

Each plan has a maximum number of websites you may track. Adding websites beyond your plan limit is not permitted. Upgrade your plan to add more websites.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Track websites you do not own or have explicit permission to track.
• Collect or attempt to collect personal data in violation of applicable privacy law.
• Circumvent usage limits, reverse-engineer the Service, or access it via automated means not authorized by us.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.
• Use the Service for unlawful purposes or in violation of any applicable law.
• Track websites that contain illegal content, exploit minors, promote violence or discrimination, or engage in fraud.

5. Payment and billing

Free plan: A free tier is available with limited features and a maximum of 1 website. No payment method is required.

Paid plans: Paid plan fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All prices are listed on our Pricing page and are exclusive of any applicable taxes.

Upgrades and downgrades: You may change your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.

Refunds: We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on first-time purchases of any paid plan. After 14 days, subscription fees are non-refundable. Partial-month fees are not refunded on cancellation.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Access continues until the end of the paid period. We do not charge cancellation fees.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including all software, designs, text, and trademarks, is owned by AI Infos Web Statistics and is protected by intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose during your subscription period.

Your data: You retain ownership of all analytics data collected from your websites. We do not claim ownership of your data. You grant us a license to process this data solely to provide the Service to you.

7. Data and privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Where we process personal data on your behalf (e.g., analytics data from your website visitors), you are the data controller and we are a data processor. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with applicable data protection laws, including obtaining any necessary consents from your users.

Note: Our tracking script is designed to be cookie-free and does not process personal data as defined under GDPR. However, you remain responsible for your own privacy policy and disclosures to your website visitors.

8. Availability and uptime

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance where possible. We will not be liable for losses caused by service unavailability beyond our reasonable control.

We do not provide an uptime SLA on free or standard plans. Enterprise plans may include a separate SLA agreement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
• We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
• Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the total fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

10. Termination

By you: You may terminate your account at any time via your account settings. On termination, your data is deleted within 30 days.

By us: We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms, engage in illegal activity, or if your account poses a security risk to other users. We will provide notice where possible unless doing so would cause harm.

Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property rights, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution) will survive.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. We will first attempt to resolve disputes amicably. If we cannot reach a resolution within 30 days, either party may pursue other legal remedies available under applicable law.
